Protest against the methods employed in the recent elections of the graduate school to further the interests of an unrepresentative cliqueh[manuscript] 1931.

The letter protests fraud in a recent election of graduate class officers. The letter was cosigned by D. E. Brewer, Joseph Lee Vaughan and John Cook Wyllie and was supported by a petition whose signees included Randolph W. Church, R. Cecil Garlick, Jr., Louise Greer, Frances E. Harshbarger, Rebecca Hollingsworth, Roy Land, C. E. May, and William S. Weedon. The letter of protest is accompanied by a response by the Honor Committee; a letter from the president of the graduate students copying a communication from the other officers resigning their positions; and a resolution by the Graduate School protesting the imposition of an activities fee.
